Originally built in 1952, this home was purchased by my parent's in 1983, and then completely gutted and renovated in 2004—taken down to literally the front living room and office and thoughtfully/mindfully rebuilt by hand. My dad was a realtor and the kind of person that crossed every “T” and dotted every “i” so when this house was designed, he knew what to do to make this house functional so that every inch of the home had purpose and intention. My mom's favorite spots were the deck and the front porch. There aren't a lot of houses in city of Fairfax that have a line of pine trees across the street. So when you relax with a cup of tea or coffee on the front porch, you can have a nice view, and also people watch! And in the winter, it smells like Christmas.
